Journal: Computer Science Education
The aim of Computer Science Education is to publish papers with a specific focus on teaching and learning within the computing discipline. It is Computer science education is not in itself a discipline, but a range of approaches to a single activity within a single subject area, and methods in computer science education are those of other disciplines. Equally, Computer Science itself is a broad term which encompasses subjects as varied as theoretical computer science and multimedia application development. The scope of the journal as to technical subject matter is inclusive. Finally, papers may present work at different scales , from classroom-based empirical studies through evaluative comparisons of pedagogic approaches across institutions (indeed across countries) and of different types from the practical to theoretical. The scope of the journal encourages this diversity. Practitioners, no less than researchers, have to stay abreast of numerous and disparate bodies of material.
